Back to Cruising (just not on Luna Bay yet)

After touring the ancient sites of Athens the Zo's arrived for a week of sailing. But first we had to see (and re-see) some of the amazing sites of Athens. Megan and Nik fought off the jet lag and we got after it, climbing up the Acropolis the morning after they arrived.

Then it was time for some sailing. Since Luna Bay was still in transit, we rented another boat to get out and see some of the Greek Isles (so for those of you keeping score, yes, we took a vacation from our sailing vacation to go sailing).

We started by sailing to Island of Kythnos in some abnormally cool weather, but Captain Mara had us moving along nicely.

Kythnos was very low key, especially because it is still the off season, but it was very beautiful and nice to just chill a bit.

Mostly, we just had fun being all together.

Next up was the island of Syros, with is mix of Greek and Venetian architecture. We did a lot of walking up and down old cobblestone streets, which is a theme you'll start to notice!

Then it was on the party island of Mykonos. Since the dance clubs weren't really on our agenda, we spent the day immersing ourselves in the postcard views, the quaint streets, and of course for KK, some window shopping at the fancy boutiques!

It was a fantastic week with Megan and Nik, just wish they could have stayed longer!
