St. Tropez, The Fanciest Place on Earth!

So we got to spend a few days in St. Tropez, and boy, did the girls like it! These girls like fancy, and we got fancy!

First impressions:

And Ryan's...:

KK's thoughts on St Tropez:

From Sept. 11-12 we were in Saint-Tropez. So far, this is my favorite place we have been. We went there from Marseille, and when we arrived we went into town for dinner. When we were taking the dinghy into town, we saw over 15 yachts and when we went into the marina we saw over 30 more! They were all so huge that the 92 foot one looked tiny compared to the others.

The "little" boat here is 92 feet long:

Here are all of the yachts lined up!

My favorite was Ocean Bird, it was 175 feet long, had five stories and was a light grey color.

The next day we decided to stay and explore more of Saint-Tropez. We went swimming in the morning, then we watched one of the Sail GP races. It was really cool to see all of the boats out there watching and we got to be in the front row of boats. It was really cool to watch because the boats competing sailed by close. We then went into town and walked around, saw all the little boutiques, and got Gelato. While we were walking around the boutiques I found a dress that I really liked but it was unreasonably priced like most of the things in the stores. The coolest thing I learned about Saint-Tropez was that a lot of British and French royalty have houses in Saint-Tropez. I thought that that made sense because it is such a beautiful place, that also explained the why everything was so expensive and why there were so many yachts and other extremely expensive things. It was the most fun place we have visited so far, in my opinion.

If I could design my own perfect day in Saint-Tropez, it wouldn’t be very different from what we did. It would start with going to a café along the water and having a pastry. I would then walk up all the little alleys and narrow streets and shop at the boutiques. I would get lunch at one of the little stores selling sandwiches and little deserts and eat my lunch on a bench in a little square. I would walk along the water and stop at one of the many ice cream parlors and get Gelato. Then I would take an afternoon dip in the water, and then go to dinner in one of the little alleys. I would walk back by way of the Marina and look at all the yachts all lit up and pick my favorite.

And now, Ryan:

On the first day in Saint-Tropez, the first thing we did was we swam. The swimming in Saint-Tropez was fun. I liked it a tiny bit more than other places we have been because there wasn’t a lot to see, but it was warmer. After washing off the salt, we went to dinner. On the boat ride there we saw a LOT of yachts. Me and my sister’s favorite was called Oceanbird. It was the biggest and had a hangout space with beanbag chairs. I liked to look at the huge yachts because I thought they were cool.

I like to dream about having my own yacht! If I did, I would have it be a 1000ft yacht with a pool, a hot tub, 7 bedrooms, 1 full-of-food kitchen, a hair salon, an art studio for me to do art, a mini Sephora (For KK), 3 hangout rooms (each with it’s own chocolate fountain & some snacks), 2 living rooms, 6 bathrooms, 1 dog relief room, an office for my parents to do work, a gym for dad, a meditation room, sleepover room (with a buffet, a chocolate fountain, 4 beds, some candy, and a 5x5 screen/tv), a room where half of it is a bowling alley, and the other is a movie theater, a pets & hot chocolate room (the floor is a mattress, you are surrounded by pillows and you are in a blanket drinking hot chocolate with a cat or dog on your lap), a dance floor, a pantry room, a dog grooming station, a dog park, a mocktail club, a winery, an aquarium, a pool (where you swim with turtles, dolphins, and fish), a cat room (it has a cat tower, a cat toy, a cat bed, a cat tree, and some other cat toys), a cenote, a water cave, and finally a mini Nintendo e-shop for moi. The motor would run eco-friendly. It would take gas and smoke from the air and use it as fuel and the gas and smoke would not come back out into the air. It would be the perfect getaway vacation yacht!!!

We had an awesome dinner on a little back alley that night in St. Tropez. Magical little place:

Although KK wasn't that thrilled to be there with her Dad:

That's all from St. Tropez!
