We only really passed through Guadeloupe, but we managed to spend some time snorkeling and diving at a place called Pigeon Island, which is a nature reserve and group of dive sites discovered by Jacques Cousteau.
We also spotted another octopus on this this adventure. This 1 min clip has a lot of interesting things in it. You can see the octopus swimming in the open, you can see it shoot some sand at a fish that gets too close, you can see it reaching into a crevice for something (which ends up being some sort of mollusk that it eats!), and then you can see him content and full breathing in the it's den after having expelled the mollusk shell.
